Buffet Tradition Bb Clarinet Overview
Sound at its purest level. This is what defines the Buffet Tradition Bb clarinet. After fine-tuning the design, the Tradition clarinet now boasts an entirely silver plated mechanism with a new low F correction key. And for the perfect finish, the Tradition now displays the new and elegant vertical logo.
Inspired by pre-1950 models, the Buffet Tradition clarinet features the revolutionary poly-cylindrical bore. Not only does this provide you with an undeniable Buffet playing experience, but it also produces a woody and well-centred tone.
It doesn't end there though. Around the back of the clarinet, you will find an adjustable thumb rest for added comfort. And for an extra touch of luxury, the Tradition boasts metal capped tenons and tone hole placements inspired by the distinguished Tosca clarinet.

The Tradition Design
This Buffet Tradition Bb clarinet has been inspired by a pre-1950's design while accommodating the needs and ambitions of modern-day players. Featuring a brand new poly-cylindrical bore design, the Tradition clarinet has added a new acoustic option to Buffet's ever-growing catalogue of products.
Le Son a l'etat pur
Translates to 'sound at its purest level', which is Buffets way to describe the beauty and tonal character of this new Tradition Clarinet. The model represents a clarinet in its most natural and pure form, without unnecessarily altering the design.
Inspired Design
The new poly-cylindrical bore design combined with a Tosca inspired tone hole placement, results in a clear focused and weighted sound suitable for all playing styles and environments. These innovations help the player to focus more on technical aspects, rather than voicing and embouchure alterations.
Top Quality Mechanisms
The stainless steel rods and pivot screws are silver-plated to provide strength, durability and a professional look. The silver-plated keywork has a smoother, longer lasting finish. The waterproof GT pads meet undercut tone holes to create a fantastic seal and a sound that is full of tone. After all this, the instrument is adjusted and tuned to precise measurements by expert technicians before it leaves the factory.
