If you decide you don't want your order, you can return it within 14 days of receiving it. Provided your product hasn't been activated in that time, you can exchange it for a different product, or get a refund.
We will only issue a new product or refund if the supplier confirms that your product has not been activated. At the same time, we will ask them to invalidate it so that it cannot be used in the future.

When returning an order please ensure products are appropriately packaged and protected, to prevent them from getting damaged.

Soundtoys have meticulously recreated the sound of classic resonant filters, by emulating analog circuitry to deliver the vintage sound of legendary filter units. You can create everything from sweeps to tempo-locked rhythmic effects. A wide range of filter types are included covering everything from high-pass/low-pass to 2-pole and 8-pole filters. Not only that but FilterFreak 5 comes pre-loaded with a wide range of presets allowing you to capture your creativity when it strikes.
Whilst staying true to the original designs, Soundtoys have incorporated advanced controls, for advancing sound shaping. From guitars and bass to drums and synths, the FilterFreak 5 is perfect for shaping the sound of any sound source. You can also use the FilterFreak to achieve a range of effects including envelope follower, a funky auto-wah and much more. You can also double up the filtering run, as FilterFreak is comprised of two plugins. Firing up FilterFreak 2 will provide you with two analog filters running parallel so you can combine them to create a wide range of effects.
One of the most innovative features of FilterFreak 5 is the Rhythm/Shape editors. The Rhythm editor allows you to create your own rhythm patterns and even add some swing or shuffle for added funk. Activating the Rhythm Mode and hitting the MIDI switch allows you to create auto-wah effects that can be synced to your DAW.
You can also sculpt the shape of your LFO using the Shape Editor. You can use this to create unique rhythms and grooves using the range of controls on offer. Activating the envelope or ADSR modes will allow you to trigger the filter with incoming audio; the possibilities are endless!
