At the heart of the NT6 is a 1/2-inch gold-sputtered condenser capsule, which ensures pristine audio capture. The capsule is housed in a remote head that boasts a multi-position mounting ring, allowing for 180 degrees of vertical rotation. This flexibility enables precise microphone placement, keeping the audio source in focus and capturing every nuance with accuracy.


The NT6 also includes an onboard 80Hz high-pass filter, which effectively eliminates low-frequency rumble and handling noise, ensuring crystal-clear audio reproduction. Versatile mounting capabilities

The thing that sets the NT6 apart from conventional small-diaphragm condenser mics is the compact, external capsule. With two main parts, the NT6 is comprised of a preamp unit connected to a condenser microphone capsule that can be positioned in hard-to-reach places - ideal for recording instruments such as drums and more. Complete with the NT6 is a two-axis swivel mount which makes it easy to position the microphone and keep it in place whilst recordings. Also included is a reinforced Kevlar fibre cable (measuring at 3 metres in length) for optimal durability.

Two-stage pad and high-pass filter

Cater to any sound source with the onboard attenuation controls. Utilising the two-stage pad you can prepare the microphone to capture louder sound sources such as guitar cabs, drums and other high-volume instruments. With 0dB and -10dB settings, you can choose the sound that suits yrou recording application. You can also eliminate unwanted low-end rumble and background noise using the two-position high-pass filter. You can choose between the 'Flat' setting or the '80Hz' setting depending on your needs.
