Classic-style tracking sequencing and sampler – now made portable!

Tracker sequencing was instrumental in shaping modern dance music; regarded for its ability to sequence samples numerically using a vertical timeline to play through your various samples. This style of sequencing was used in countless hit dance records and most prominently in the drum&bass/breaks genre. The original Polyend Tracker revitalised tracker sequencing, bringing it into the modern age with the inclusion of studio-grade effects, advancing sampling capabilities and limitless editing options. The Tracker Mini takes the sequencing power of the original and downsizes it into a compact and portable sequencer.

Eight tracks with built-in effects

Each of the eight tracks available features 256 patterns with 128 step per pattern. This gives you more than enough creative freedom to create anything you want. From jotting down melody ideas on the move to creating full songs; the intuitive controls and wide variety of features on offer allow you to achieve whatever you dream up. The Tracker Mini also provides support for audio over USB, allowing you to integrate the sampler/sequencer into your music production/live performance setup.

Optimised for production and live performances, the Tracker Mini allows you to add effects per individual track; with a wide variety of effects to choose from including reverb, delay, overdrive, flanger, chorus, bitcrushers, compressor, normalizer, reverse and many more. There are also two different timestretching options so you can tap into that classic tracker-style sound. The Tracker Mini also comes pre-loaded with a library of genre-specific sample packs; allowing you to get started straight out of the box.

Built-in microphone and new stereo sampling

Expanding on the design of the original Polyend Tracker, the Tracker Mini features a range of new functions and features to streamline your workflow and expand your composition capabilities. One of the most prominent new features is the addition of a built-in microphone which can be used to sample your own voice or your surroundings. Perfect for when inspiration strikes, the high-grade microphone allows you to sample whatever is going on around you; from ambient sounds to recording live instruments and more.

The sampling capability has also been expanded from the original design, now allowing you to incorporate stereo sounds. Not only that, but the refined circuitry and signal path provides added headroom and high-end stereo audio playback. The sample pool memory has also been expanded, upgraded from two minutes to eight minutes of mono sampling. Using your own stereo samples allows you to create huge soundscapes that will immerse the listener.

Onboard rechargeable battery and synthesis engine

For those who want to take their sound design a step further, the Tracker Mini features an onboard wavetable/granular synthesis engine that allows you to create your own sounds from scratch. Using the wavetable synthesizer you can utilise the custom wavetable collection or create your own from scratch. You can also utilise the one-grain synthesizer to create glitchy and unique-sounding synth tracks. The various modes and sections are easily navigated with dedicated sections for live performance, mixing and mastering, instrument parameters/automation, beat slicing and many more.

The first portable tracker sequencer on the market, the Tracker Mini features a huge battery life of up to eight hours, so you can play, compose and experiment all day long. Not only that but you can import and swap between the original Tracker and Tracker Mini, allowing you to start something in the studio and take it with you on the move. The Tracker Mini also features complete MIDI integrated, allowing you to control external gear using the sequencer. You can even connect a MIDI keyboard to the Tracker Mini for improved playability.

Ergonomic gamepad-style controls with LCD display

While it is smaller in size, the Tracker Mini retains all the features and functionality of the original Polyend Tracker; with the option to take it with you wherever you go. The crisp 5-inch LCD display provides instant feedback for all your settings and functions, complete with tactile controls that allow you to perform and compose with ease. Reminiscent of classic portable gaming consoles, the Tracker Mini features a d-pad style design for navigating between sections and settings as well as transport controls and dedicated buttons for various functions including FX. Not only that but the bottom of the unit features line and MIID I/O connectivity.
