It blocks out most noise from the side and back of the microphone, giving a focused sound pickup. Carefully designed for high quality, low-noise recordings - it produces detailed audio, using a vapour-deposited gold diaphragm. There's even a foam windshield and 6dB low-pass filter (150Hz), to prevent any rumbling and wind noise from making it onto your recordings.
Complete with a sturdy metal chassis, this shotgun mic is built to be durable. Ready for the rigours of filming on location. It's the perfect microphone for filmmaking, interviews, broadcasting, and outdoor field recordings. There's even a mic clip included, so you can mount it on a stand or boom pole.
