Roland’s RP series of digital pianos brings professional performance at an attractive price. The traditional design of the cabinet looks good in any environment. The retractable lid cover protects the RP501R whilst the integrated music stand makes it easy to place your sheet music or books whilst playing. The RP series focuses on easy playability ideal for developing students who want to excel as a musician, or for more advanced musicians seeking a cost-effective solution. The three-pedal system and ivory feel keys give the user the experience they would expect from an acoustic piano. The on-board auto-accompaniment system takes the experience to the next level.

SuperNATURAL Sound Engine

SuperNATURAL Piano technology powers the onboard grand piano sounds, delivering a world-class playing experience. The RP501R reacts realistically with your touch for a responsive and dynamic performance. Roland have worked hard to take the sound beyond sample-only pianos and have developed a combined sampling and modelling system which takes the sound to new levels of realism.

Advanced Digital Features

The onboard rhythm function allows you to play and practise music along with the support of a full backing band. Easy to use accompaniments automatically follow the chords you play, and an expandable choice of 72 styles means you'll always find something to suit. This offers an incredible way to learn and play, with a fuller sound. Close your eyes and imagine yourself performing on the big stage!

As with all digital pianos, the Roland RP-501R is always in tune and doesn't require the expensive maintenance of an acoustic instrument. The volume is easily adjusted to suit the time or place and silent practice is possible using headphones. The RP-501R's Headphone 3D Ambience feature provides an immersive soundstage which greatly enriches the playing experience through headphones. Other features include a built-in metronome, recorder, USB connectivity, and a Twin Piano mode, further enhancing the RP-501R's credentials as a great piano for developing your skills. The RP 501R is capable of playing back audio from a USB stick, allowing you to easily play along to your favourite songs.

Connectivity

In addition to having the sound and feel of a traditional piano, the RP 501 takes advantage of modern features to make it more accessible than ever. Your music production software can be connected via USB, making the RP 501 a functional MIDI controller for your DAW. Bluetooth MIDI allows owners to connect their RP 501 to their mobile device and access apps including Roland's Piano Partner 2 app and other third party apps. Combined with the integrated three pedal unit, this technology can also be used for sheet music page turning.

The Piano Partner 2 app also offers an easy way for players to view and access the library of over 300 onboard sounds and organise layers, splits and utilise the Twin Piano functionality, which is a fantastic feature for players who are learning with a teacher. You can also use the Piano Partner 2 app to record your performance as a MIDI file, and play it back through the piano. The diary function allows you to keep track of your progress. An optional piano bench is available in single and duet sizes, in matching wood finishes.

Delivery

Standard Courier Delivery

When you add this product to your shopping basket, you will be provided with our standard courier delivery option. This will deliver the piano to the front door on the ground floor of your house or building. This service will not deliver the piano into your home. *Please note that if there is not a ground floor entrance we may not be able to deliver there. You may also need to help the delivery driver as this product comes packaged in large boxes. This may not be suitable if you are unable to help the driver if required, or if you need the piano delivering upstairs. Please consider whether this is the most appropriate delivery service for you, as other delivery options are available at an additional cost.

2 Man Delivery Service

The delivery personnel will deliver the piano to a ground room floor of your choice, rather than just the front door. Delivery and Installation Service

This service can be arranged on an ad-hoc basis via a specialist piano delivery company. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed until we have made arrangements with the delivery company.
