LD Systems Processing Technology

The LD Systems Automatic Mixer has high quality 96 kHz and 24 bit signal processing with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 30 kHz. The mixer also features high spec automatic channel gates with a variable threshold this helps to eliminate, background noise, feedback and unwanted comb-filter effects from other active channels. The Automatic Mixer also features a powerful set of equalisation processing options, with a fully parametric and variable Q-factor EQ editor on each of the 8 channels. The master output features a 15 band version of the already very powerful channel EQ.

Expanded Connectivity

The AM8 features a variety of connections to make it useful for a variety of applications. Up to 16 units can be daisy chained together in a master slave configuration, allowing for huge speaker set ups to be created, all controlled from one device running the included software. A 25 Pin external connector can be connected to support an external controller, with variable voltages controlling the outputs and inputs. Balanced audio connections can also be made using the included terminal block, meaning standard XLR cables can be used for audio signals. An RS-232 connector is also included to allow advanced serial data connections.
