The Yamaha LS-TA TransAcoustic is built with acoustic projection in mind, designed with an exceptional choice of tonewoods perfect for creating an almost perfect sound. The spruce top has been treated with A.R.E, allowing for an elevated level of tonal richness that is usually only found in a vintage instrument. The rosewood back and sides are a unique choice, but deliver a sound that is incredibly well-balanced, providing warmth in the lows, a tight mid-range, and glistening highs, brilliantly versatile to fit all your musical needs.
Improvements in playability have resulted in the neck of this acoustic being exceptionally comfortable to play, providing the performer with a comfortable grasp for full control of the instrument, whilst also ensuring total freedom to effortlessly pounce from chord to chord with accuracy and precision. The five-ply rosewood and mahogany design of the neck results in increased durability and a sound that is full of intricacies and inflections.
The Yamaha LS-TA TransAcoustic comes equipped with Yamaha’s System 70 preamp, providing the ability to plug the guitar into a PA system or amplifier, while also amplifying the natural sound of the guitar itself. A Piezo pickup transmits every vibration the strings articulate directly to the actuator, then emits it from the body of the guitar, creating an authentic reverb and chorus inside the body of the instrument. A set of three controls allow you to adjust the chorus, reverb, and level at any moment during your performance.
