Filled with modern guitar technology and custom features, this instrument has been crafted with a meticulous attention to detail. All-new, revolutionary Liquidmetal bridge pins boost the guitar's volume by at least three decibels - a truly incredible development. This results in superior acoustic volume without impacting tonal balance.
Furthermore, a unique composite carbon fiber bridge plate also increases acoustic volume without adding extra weight. And with an all-new titanium two-way truss rod, your neck is superbly easy to adjust and incredibly strong. It's also 64 lighter than any traditional truss rod. Furthermore, the OM-28's bracing is constructed with VTS adirondack spruce. This specific tonewood is renowned for its superior clarity, and incredible projection. Abundant in the 1930s, and used on many Martin guitars of that era, adirondack spruce is in high-demand for its outstanding tone. Vintage feel, modern playability
An all new neck shape. Designed to maximise performance and comfort. The OM-28's neck features a profile that is slightly asymmetric. The inspiration for this came from an old OM-45 1930s model. Resulting in a familiar, yet vintage Martin look and feel. Although it's been designed to meet an older spec, this unique shape gets thinner towards higher frets, but still has that authentic thicker feel towards the top. This ensures your fretting hand stays comfortable up and down the fingerboard whilst encouraging you to go for gold. Experience playability and comfort like never before.
