Its Soloist shape allows easier access to the higher frets, providing full access to the entire fingerboard. For that signature Jackson tone, the SL7 comes equipped with a pair of Seymour Duncan Blackouts pickups, along with volume control and 3-way toggle switch. Combined the pickups offer a versatile tone with an excellent dynamic range and articulation. Separately, despite being the same pickup style, they offer their own unique tonal qualities based on where they are placed upon the guitar. The Blackouts placed at the neck delivers a smooth and glassy tone, while the model located at the bridge is perfect for aggressive tones and sustain.
In order to further enhance your guitar's tone, it features a three-way toggle which allows you to explore different pickup combinations, as well as shape your sound in order to suit your preferred style.
