The Fender Alkaline Trio Malibu Folk Acoustic is constructed entirely with laminated mahogany, offering a durable instrument with a pleasing rich-warmth. Laminated mahogany is less susceptible to warping within environment changes, making it ideal for travelling and taking outside for a jam in the sunshine without worry of wood damage. The Alkaline's laminated mahogany body produces a distinct mellow warmth with plenty of resonance and a punchy mid-range. Mahogany accommodates a wide variety of genres and playing styles with ease, but will perform particularly well when attacked with folk, old-school blues, roots music, and slide techniques.
Comfortable Maple Neck & Walnut Fingerboard
Constructed from maple, the Malibu Folk's neck adds a bright attack with plenty of bite and sustain. This bright tone complements the mahogany's sonic-warmth and gives the Fender Alkaline a truly distinct sound.
