Xl Reverb Technology

The M-One XL features TC Electronic's XL technology, which is based on their heritage and continual research and development of reverb technology. The XL Reverbs in the M-One give you new and improved spatial perspectives across the entire range of reverb algorithms. The extended range of the 'reverb size' enables both extremely wide or narrow spatial imaging, independently of the decay time. The M-One XL can achieve any combination of reverb styles by applying 'reverb size' to both the early reflections and the diffused field. XL Reverb Technology also stands out by applying sophisticated modulation patterns that simulate the modulation of a real room, giving you ranges of modulation from the barely-audible real-room style, to heavy chorusing and detuned reverbs, and also simulating the vintage style of reverbs.

Small Room Simulation

The simulation of small rooms were a major focus in the development and tuning of the XL reverbs featured in the M-One XL. The new set of diffused fields and early reflection patterns provide a truly astounding realistic simulation of rooms. Applied to source material, the room simulations provide clarity and presence to your source. Thanks to the flexibility of the XL Technology, these reverbs can be tweaked from near-transparent ambient patterns over large hall reverbs, to low-resolution plates or spring reverbs with ease.

Presets

The TC Electronic M-One XL features 200 high-grade factory presets, suitable for almost any situation you can imagine. You can also store up to 100 of your own favourite presets in the user bank easily by simply hitting the STORE key to save your settings.

Reverb Types

The TC Electronic M-One XL provides incredible studio-grade reverb, ideal for use in the studio, but perfect also for live use. The reverb styles that the M-One XL offers are a versatile set that have you covered for every situation;

• Hall: The classic hall reverbs simulate the reverbaration of very large rooms with high ceilings. Featuring unobtrusive reflections with a density and natural feel that are beyond belief, these hall reverbs sound great when used for vocals, acoustic guitars or pianos.
• Room: TC Electronic's highly regarded room reverbs generate a vast array of room settings with different sizes and surfaces. They add exceptional realism and texture to your sound.
• Live: The algorithms used for the live reverbs are a grainy style, reminiscent of typical 1980s live reverbs. They are perfect for adding that extra edge to cut through on a PA system.
• Plate: These plate reverbs offer a natural, almost mechanical-sounding basic reverb tone. Simulating the mechanical vibrating of a reverbaration plate, picking up the sound and re-ampifying it, the plate algorithms provide you with a versatile sound without the need for an array of space-hogging physical plates.
