Comfortable Neck Profile & Laurel Fingerboard

The Squier Contemporary Active Stratocaster features a familiar slim C-shaped maple neck, which offers comfortable playability across the whole fingerboard, while its natural satin finish allows the player's hand to effortlessly glide, for high-speed styles. Topped with a laurel fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets, players can achieve effortless bends, as well as a warm, rich tone.

Dual Active Humbuckers

This guitar is equipped with a pair of Squier Active Humbuckers which produce a hot, powerful output, perfect for crunchy solos and main riffs. Players can easily shape their tone using the 3-position blade, and master volume and tone controls.

Hardware

This Active Contemporary Squier guitar is also equipped with a Floyd Rose Licensed Double Locking Tremolo and Locking nut, which enable players to achieve extreme vibrato effects with accurate intonation.
