It may look like a video game. But it's so much more than that! With a unique joystick to control the blend between reverb and distortion, you'll be able to dial your tone in like never before. Moving it up and down determines your distortion blend, whilst left and right influences reverb. It'll let you mix each effect like never before - and with infinitely more responsiveness then a regular dial. It's a new, innovative way to shape your sound. Aside from that, it adds an awesome aesthetic to the Melee.
With three different reverb voicings at your disposal - the sky is the limit. Ambient creates an otherworldly, ethereal effect, whilst Octave Down gives you a much deeper, darker tonality, with a lower octave hanging around in the depths of everything you play. Reverse, as you might suspect, makes it sound like the reverb effect is reversed, with the trails added back into your signal for an atmospheric swelling effect. With all these at your disposal, nothing can stop you from creating gigantic soundscapes!
There's really nothing you can't do. A D>R/R>D switch lets you determine which effect is placed first in the signal chain. Putting Distortion first helps you retain cutting clarity and articulation in your riffs and chords, whilst putting Reverb first help you create a big, fuzzy wall of sound. There's also a Sustain switch to help you drag those notes out forever with a massive reverb trail (especially when the Decay switch is set high). This can be used in latch mode with all three voicings as well - simply press and release the switch for extended, pad-like sounds.
