Ashdown

Ashdown was founded in 1997 by Mark Gooday, a former chief engineer and manager for Trace Elliot. He named the company ‘Ashdown’ after Gooday’s wife’s family name, and he constructed the logo from a Austin-Healey motor badge.

With over 15 years of experience, Ashdown are British based company specialising in amplification and manufacture a full range of high performance bass amps to suit all styles and levels of player. For acoustic guitar players, Ashdown offers the "Woodsman" series, featuring premium amplifiers such as the Ashdown Woodsman Jumbo Acoustic Amplifier.

They also do a wide variety of bass pedals and accessories from distortion pedals to four way footswitches. Ashdown equipment is used by some of the biggest bands and names in the music industry from Adam Clayton (U2) to Nate Mendel (Foo Fighters).
