This essentially means all the normal slide positions are halved, allowing for faster note passages. The Tromba Jazzbone gets its distinct look from its doubled slide. This quirky slide enables the trombone to be more compact while also easier to balance - essential for younger players. The doubled slide means all the normal positions are essentially halved meaning the transition between notes is a lot shorter. This allows for faster passages of music to be played easier than ever!
Lightweight Design
The Tromba Jazzbone has been made from high-grade ABS plastic, which enables the trombone to be lightweight. A normal brass trombone weighs around 2kg, whereas the Tromba trombone only weight around 750g. This is great for smaller children learning the trombone who may tire after a prolonged period of practising. The trombone has been ultrasonically welded together meaning it is still extremely light but it is very strong.
It Never Gets Cold
Brass instruments can alter their tuning severely dependent on the temperature, particularly when it's very cold. With the Tromba Jazzbone being made out of plastic, this isn't a problem. The plastic trombone doesn't get affected by the cold so makes it perfect for marching outdoor concerts and Christmas Caroling.
Ready to Play and Easy Maintenance
The trombone is ready to play straight out the box, meaning there is no set-up required when you receive the instrument. Whereas a brass trombone takes time and correct procedure to clean thoroughly, the Tromba is really quick and easy to do. All you need a little bit of lukewarm water and a cloth! This makes it really helpful for schools that may swap trombones around a variety of students over time. If you crack the trombone in any way, that isn't a problem either. You can simply mend cracks to the plastic with superglue.
Included Accessories
Included with the Tromba Jazzbone is a 48 size mouthpiece. Plastic mouthpieces are prefered by players who frequently play outside as they warm up a lot faster than traditional metal mouthpieces. The Tromba can also use any regular small bore trombone mouthpiece so you can keep the mouthpiece that you've always used. Also included is a compact trombone stand, cleaning kit, and a carrying case so transporting your instrument is never an issue.
