Everything about the Rousseau 2.0 Studio Jazz mouthpiece has been designed for jazz musicians. The wider tip opening found on the Studio Jazz is ideal for bending notes, while the small chamber ensures your tone can soar across an ensemble.
Each and every Rousseau mouthpiece is 100 made in America. Once completed, the baffles and tip rails are expertly hand-finished by saxophone specialists at the JodyJazz factory. Each mouthpiece is then play tested to ensure perfection.

You'll find it has an excellent response with an even scale across all registers making it very easy to play. It can even deliver a fantastic tone in the low register when playing soft and sub tone.
To ensure you have a balanced sound with great projection, Rousseau designed the Studio Jazz mouthpiece with a unique wedged baffle. He then added a smaller chamber to the Studio Jazz mouthpiece to ensure your bright tone can soar across the top of an ensemble. The larger tips found on the Rousseau 2.0 Studio Jazz mouthpiece range are ideal for bending notes.
The Rousseau design all started when Dr Rousseau couldn't find a good enough commercial mouthpiece to recommend to his students - so he made his own! Rousseau actually learned about woodwind design and acoustics from one of the finest acousticians since Adolph Sax - Charles Houvenaghel. Chicago born and bred, Eugene Rousseau is known as one of the finest saxophone players around.
