The Nuvo jSax enables young players to play an instrument with a classical quality, from an early age. The jSax features a traditional saxophone fingering pattern which allows players to develop tuning skills that are later transferable to a full-size instrument. The Nuvo jSax is great fun for beginners and amateur saxophonists alike thanks to the mellow tones it produces. This jSax is C pitched which is ideal for classroom integration. The instrument has a fully chromatic range from middle C (C4) to G in the next octave up (G5). In regards to its design the jSax requires little maintenance and is easy to clean and since the pads are synthetic there is no need to worry about water damage. The jSax comes with two synthetic reeds with strengths 1.5 and 2 which are great for beginners. This product comes with a moulded case and carry strap. The Nuvo jSax is also available with black, green or pink trims. (See links below for further details).

Lightweight Design

The body of the jSax is split up in to three easy parts making it simple to construct and take apart. Many months of research and development have been spent designing the jSax to make it not only light and so suitable for children but also a great sounding instrument with a superb tone.

Innovative Mouthpiece Design

The mouthpiece and ligature design for the jSax is a simple and effective method in comparison to the traditional method. This instrument features a snap shut ligature, meaning there are no screws to adjust and allows for quick repositioning if necessary. The instrument comes with two synthetic reeds which have a really long life span.

Ideal for Teaching Lessons and Schools

Being in the key of C, the jSax is a great instrument for instrumental teaching lessons. It makes it much easier to play with other woodwind instruments such as the flute and the oboe, and most importantly easy to play along with the piano. Thanks to its plastic construction, the jSax is easily cleaned and sanitised if more than one student is playing the same instrument.
