The iTrack Solo features an award winning Focusrite microphone input and a electric/bass guitar input allowing you to record both your vocals and guitar simultaneously, then separate the tracks within the software. This allows you to experiment with using the guitar input and a microphone on the guitar and inputting these together to product different sounds. Using their 25 years of professional audio experience, Focusrite have designed the iTrack's input section to feature a clean, low-noise, low-distortion preamp. The iTrack Solo also provides phantom power for condenser microphones.
Focusrite User-friendly Halo Signal Indicators
The iTrack Solo boasts a simple and tactile control interface. The Halo signal indicators let you know when you have a good volume for recording meaning there's no guess work and the quality of your track isn't compromised. If the Halo turns red, the signal is clipping and the gain should be reduced. The Halo momentarily turns amber as the signal corrects itself, and then back to green letting you know everything is perfect again.
High Quality Headphone Amp
A large monitor dial provides a tactile control for speaker and headphone volume. You'll receive a clean and loud signal to any headphones connected to the front panel socket thanks to iTrack's high quality headphone amp. The direct monitor switch routes audio directly from the inputs to both the headphone and speaker outputs allowing you to hear the incoming signal with no latency, resulting in less distraction and a better performance from you.
Connect Your Own Speakers
Turning to the iTrack Solo's rear panel you'll find phono outputs allowing you to connect the audio interface to a pair of powered speakers or your Hi-Fi system. The speaker volume can then be controlled using the large dial on the front of the iTrack Solo meaning everything you need is within reach.
Record On iPad, Mac and PC
The iTrack Solo uses your favourite software and apps to record songs. Designed to work with the 30-pin iPad connection, the Solo also works with Mac and PC meaning you can record with your desktop or laptop aswell. Focusrite have included recording and sequencing software Ableton Live Lite and Scarlett Plug-in Suite which provides recording effects such as reverb, compression, gate and EQ.
