Thunderbolt connectivity is renowned for its low-latency and stability. Thunderbolt connectivity is normally reserved for Mac-based computers, but the new Windows Thunderbolt driver changes that. You can now utilise Thunderbolt’s increased bandwidth and I/O capabilities with a range of Antelope Audio products. This opens up a new world of connectivity for Windows users, providing fast and stable connectivity.

The Power of the Proprietary FPGA

Orion32+ features an enhanced software panel with 4 vintage EQ plug-ins, networking control, smart resising and sharding. Orion32+ features Antelope Audio’s hardware-based effects. Antelope Audio’s proprietary FPGA is optimised to run custom equalisation, compression, and reverb plug-ins. This potent modeling arsenal includes their vintage EQ models, AuraVerb, as well as other effects to be released – all coming at no additional cost.

Orion32+ features all four members of the Antelope EQ Legends bundle including VEQ-1A Antelope Audio's emulation of a legendary tube EQ, which’s been an inseparable part of every pro studio in the world. VMEQ-5 will make your mid range shine as never before. VEQ-55A will enahnce all details your mix has been missing. Last but not least, Orion32+ gives you the chance to explore the great analog sound of the BAE-1073 – a cult and versatile 70's channel module easily found on all your favorite records.

Versatile Connectivity

The Orion32 + is the successor to the world's first 32-channel AD/DA, now offering a greater variety of interfaces such as Thunderbolt, MADI and USB. The digital connectivity options are complemented by ADAT and S/PDIF connectivity. Orion32 + provides seamless integration with any DAW, allowing for low-latency simultaneous I/O streaming of 32-channels of 24-bit 192kHz audio. All analog I/O are handled by eight D-sub 25 connectors and a pair of TRS connectors that allow you to monitor your mix.

Enhanced Routing, Mixing and Monitoring

The extensive range of controls are gathered within a desktop application that is available for both OS X and Windows. When using this software, Orion32 + offers incredible flexibility and productivity, while also providing a colour-coded routing matrix with four separate mixers, built-in DSP effects and zero-latency monitoring.

The control panel is based on the software initially created for Orion32, and it was then further developed for another Antelope Audio product, Zen Studio. Orion32 + control panel is extremely intuitive and user-friendly, incorporating both Antelope's know-how and their customer's feedback.

Antelope's Conversion and Clocking Legacy

The proven clocking accuracy is supported by Antelope's renowned 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC) jitter management technology, the same as what the flagship Trinity Master Clock is equipped with.

The 10MHz input enables connectivity to the legendary 10M Atomic Clock and its successor the 10MX, making Orion32 + crystal oscillator precise while also emphasizing the signature Antelope sound. Additionally, the two world clock outputs allow this interface to integrate into any existing setup.

Utilsing the exceptional power and performance of the integrated FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), the Orion 32+ delivers unparalleled authenticity whilst retaining practically zero-latency performance. This latest update breathes new life into the Orion 32+ giving you access to a growing, exclusive set of hardware-quality effects. The built-in effects include emulation of the finest processors in music history including the VEQ-1A. The VEQ-1A is based on the legendary passive tube EQ from 60 years ago, delivering a thick yet warm sound normally reserved for recordings from the 60s and 70s. Also included is the VMEQ-5 which allows you to control two peak bands, adding extra punch to your sound, perfect for everything from vocals, drums and more. The VEQ-55 allows you emphasise the subtleties in your audio, ideal for drums, guitars and more. Additionally, the BAE 1073 captures the sound and style of the golden era of recording – the 60s and 80s. This versatile channel module is based on the hardware original, delivering a unique analog punch and roundness.
