Easy to Use

The CP40 has been designed to have easy usability at any location. The simple, intuitive interface gives you instant access to all the controls that you need. Call up sounds quickly and easily, and store your favourites by category for quick recall during a performance. The layering feature has a single button activation for the most user-friendly way to develop your sound live. All buttons are backlit for easy readability, even in dark venues. The Main Solo button lets you go back to playing piano across the entire keyboard with the touch of a button.

Despite being a piano for the stage, the CP40 has plenty of features to assist with playability. The keys are made from real wood for an incomparable consistency. The graded hammer action offers a smooth, expressive response that allows players to produce emotive performances. The ivory touch keys have a comfortable touch that are receptive to moisture for the most realistic feel to an acoustic piano. This means that, whatever your style of music, you are ensured a high quality playability that works for you.

High Quality Sounds

The Premium GP piano sound produces rich, developed tones. The Premium’s sound comes after Yamaha’s extensive search for the highest quality instruments in the world, and meticulously sampling and layering them. The CFX concert grand has a brighter projection, whilst the S6 produces warmer, more complex tones. The CP40 also benefits from a range of vintage, electric and organ voices that are ideal for playing creative pieces. There’s also a range of DX synthesisers that have become a standpoint for music since their origin in the 1980s.

Delivery

Standard Courier Delivery

When you add this product to your shopping basket, you will be provided with our standard courier delivery option. This will deliver the piano to the front door of your house or building. Please note that if there is not a ground floor entrance we may not be able to deliver there. You may also need to help the delivery driver as this product comes packaged in large boxes.

This may not be suitable if you are unable to help the driver if required, or if you need the piano delivering upstairs. Please consider whether this is the most appropriate delivery service for you, as other delivery options are available at an additional cost.

Delivery and Installation Service

This service can be arranged on an ad-hoc basis via a specialist piano delivery company. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed until we have made arrangements with the delivery company.
