Solid Cedar Top, Mahogany Sides, Rosewood Back

The Washburn acoustic guitar is constructed out of three different tonewoods to create its body and deliver an elegantly warm tone saturated in rich harmonics. The guitars top panel is crafted from Cedar to open up the tone to add some thickness to the sound, creating a dark and complex sound with excellent bass. The side panels of the guitar are made from Mahogany to soften up the tone and deliver a great response, adding some grind and bite to bring depth to the tone and to keep it well-balanced whilst providing a clear midrange. The Washburn’s back panel is shaped from Rosewood to bring some weight to the guitars tone, making it slightly heavy and deep whilst adding complexity to the lows and making the mids and highs strong. /p>

Mahogany Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard

Constructed from Mahogany, the Washburn’s neck offers a warm tone that’s airy and possesses enough presences in the lower mids to keep the tone mellow, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard helps to soften up the sound. With the Rosewood Fingerboard and Mahogany neck coupled together, the guitars highs become complex with great definition and depths, whilst its lows become creamy and thick, and its 2-way trussrod helps keep the neck precise and allows for stable neck adjustments.

Constructed with a properly cured solid soundboard and featuring a scalloped-X bracing, NuBone nut and saddle, class-leading Rosewood binding, faux-wood rosette and boutique Cleatone strings to create an incredible sounding instrument, the Woodline series is designed to appeal to aspiring singer-songwriters and finger-stylists.
