The Kala SSMHG-FS UBass electro-acoustic ukulele combines classic materials with head-turning tone. The top is solid Spruce with Mahogany back and sides for great volume and a thick low end. With the SSMHG-FS's small size, there's a surprisingly large amount of balanced bass available. This model is fretless for a smooth, fluid transition between notes on the fingerboard. The Shadow active pickup transfers your tone to an amplifier easily and effectively. There's also an included case.

The U-Bass model was Kala’s first design of a bass ukulele, and has become a musician’s favourite for nearly ten years. It's compact, yet the tone produced has a surprising punch and focus. The custom-designed Shadow pickup has EQ and a built on tuner for easy use live. Kala's choice of a solid Spruce top with a Rosewood fingerboard is the ideal combination for warmth and a well pronounced tone.
