The Digitech RP-1000 has the flexibility to work with almost any guitar rig – making it as simple or complex as you desire.
As you can see here, the RP-1000 has a very wide range of uses and can integrate with almost any setup. It has the flexibility to be used in more than one different rig, meaning when you update your amp or effects pedals, the RP-1000 will still be more than capable of keeping up.
The RP-1000 has a plethora of amplifier models and effects based on familiar and iconic designs. If you choose to use the in-built amps and cabs, you'll have the ability to create a sound from any musical genre. The RP-1000 allows you to bypass the amp/cab, should you instead wish to integrate your own amplifier into the signal chain.
The RP-1000 has a preset mode, where every footswitch recalls a sound stored in memory. It also has a pedalboard mode that allows 5 of the footswitches to access presets and the other 5 to switch FX on and off.
The expression pedal lets you control the traditional effects like wah and volume, but can also be programmed to change nearly any parameter in the RP-1000; this gives you access to some further experimentation with sounds.
The RP-1000 has a very clear display with a chromatic tuner for quick and precise tuning adjustments. The unit is lightweight yet built to rock out on stage. It has very clearly labelled buttons and functions, and is very easy to use once you get to grips with how it works. A built-in looper provides a very useful practice function, letting you create loops to jam along with.
