This 50W digital amplifier from NUX is packed full of features that will greatly enhance your sound and give you the ultimate playing experience. Its small size, makes it an ideal choice for practicing or even small intimate gigs, and the sturdy carry handle makes it easily transportable. The re-enforced metal corners also add to the sturdy design of this robust little amp.
The preamp was developed to accurately simulate the way an all-tube amplifier interacts with a loudspeaker and has four modulation and two ambiance effects. Choose from a clean tone that is modeled on very clean solid-state amps, blues, crunch, British, solo, and metal. Four user presets can also be stored to ensure your sound will always be perfect and reliable.
As well as being packed full of versatile amp sounds, the 50X DSP also contains a built-in tuner, and also four modulation effects including Chorus, Flanger, Phaser and Tremolo. The chorus adds a short delay to your signal, which is modulated in and out of tune and then mixed back with the original signal, creating a thicker sound. The Flanger effect uses a similar principle as the chorus, but uses a shorter delay time and adds regeneration to the modulation delay. The Phaser effect splits the incoming signal and changes the phasing of the signal. The phased signal is then taken in and out of phase and mixed back with the original signal, creating a warm sort of twisting sound. The tremolo effect provides a change of the signal level controlled by an LFO (Low frequency oscillation). Finally, the 50X also offers delay and reverb and will add a dramatic impact to your sound.
