Wizard Neck Profile

The use of Ibanez's own Wizard-9 neck allows for the RG9 to be extremely playable and optimized for lead guitarists as the thin nature of the neck helps to perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords.

Four Bottom Five Top Headstock

The incorporation of a four top, five bottom machine head pattern helps to reduce sympathetic vibrations by allowing less room between the nut and machine heads to deliver a pure and charismatic tone.

String-Thru Body

The Ibanez RG9 Electric Guitar incorporates a string-thru body to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the tailpiece and passes through the body.
