The Limited Edition 1955 Relic features a single Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55 single-coil telecaster pickup at the bridge which combines with the resonant Ash body to produce harmonic overtones and a more percussive attack.

This Custom Shop Limited Edition 1955 Relic is equipped with a Custom Shop hand-wound '55 telecaster single-coil bridge pickup with staggered/beveled polepieces, helping to deliver the authentic Esquire snap and tonality. Additionally, this unique model comes with a neck pickup conversion kit that consists of a '55 telecaster single-coil neck pickup, pickguard and control assembly should you prefer the versatility and performance of a SS configuration. Other premium features include a 3-saddle '55 telecaster bridge with brass saddles, a three-way tone/pickup switch, American Vintage tuners and a single-ply five-hole white pickguard.
The Limited Edition 1955 Relic comes complete with a stunning dirty white blonde finish and nitrocellulose lacquer, imparting the appearance of years of aging and use without the need for heavy wear and tear. Also included is a Limited Edition case containing a 1955 Fender Downbeat catalog insert reproduction.
