24-Bit/192 kHz Audio Quality
The Universal Audio Apollo Twin Solo Thunderbolt Audio Interface provides the perfect balance between analog connectivity and modern technology, supplying you with both microphone preamps and hi-z instrument inputs. Thanks to Universal Audio's 'Unison' technology, the Apollo Twin Solo's microphone preamps are designed to sound like classic tube and solid state preamps. This includes important impedance and gain stage 'sweet spots' creating a classic. The interface itself delivers up to 24-bit/192kHz for exceptional audio quality and clarity, perfect for capturing studio-quality recordings.
UAD Plug-In Processing
The Apollo Twin Solo Interface provides with the full range of UAD Powered plug-ins, including everything from compressors, tape machines, reverb and vintage EQ's, the processing power allows you to run these plug-in at near-zero latency in a range of audio software.
Thunderbolt Connection
The Apollo Twin Solo's Thunderbolt connection improves performance and response from the interface, featuring PCIe audio drivers for high-bandwidth and low-latency. A Thunderbolt connection deliver 12 times the bandwidth of a regular FireWire 800 connection, allowing you to connect a wide range of devices, including hard drives and HDMI/USB3 hubs.
Connectivity & Design
The Apollo Twin Solo features a 2-in/6-out configuration with two mic/line preamp, two analog monitor outputs and two analog line outputs for maximum versatility. it also features eight additional channels of digital inputs via the Optical connection. The two Hi-Z instrument inputs feature 1/4'' connectors, allowing you to connect and record instruments such as electric guitars with ease. Additionally, the Apollo Twin Solo features an integrated headphone jack for instant monitoring. The streamlined and sleek design of the Apollo Twin Solo makes it perfect for a standalone audio interface.
