The XREF 20 Measurement Microphone features a pre-polarized electret condenser capsule ensuring optimal audio accuracy for calibrating your studio monitors. Designed for use with the Sonarworks Reference 4 software, the Measurement Microphone boasts a wide yet flat frequency response for optimal precision. For the best possible results combining the microphone and the Reference 4 software results in maximum accuracy. It can also be used for calibration ESA and PA systems, for use with external equipment.
Individual Calibration
The Sonarworks XREF 20 is individually calibrated with an ANSI certified microphone. All you have to do is simply select the appropriate profile for your microphone and open it to ensure maximum precision. Reference 4 has been optimised for use with the microphone, ensuring the best possible results every time. It helps to aid in mixing and mastering applications, helping to calibrate studio monitors and other speakers for improved efficiency. Reference 4 will automatically locate the microphone in your room, and guide you to the best position.
Design & Construction
The highly durable exterior ensures optimal durability with the slim, robust all-metal body ensuring a long life span. It boasts calibrated open circuit sensitivity and due to the slim design is only has a tiny impact on the acoustic signal, minimising any linear distortion.
