The Schecter Diamond J-Buckers in the neck and bridge position are designed to be versatile for a dynamic bass sound. The pickups produce an intense tone which can be easily adjusted to create your ideal performance. The pickups are selected via a 3-way switch and give you the option for series, parallel and split operation. These 3 options give you the chance to experience totally different bass sounds with ease.

Ash Body

The ash body provides a light and comfortable playing experience, as well as a sound that has a good amount of twang. The ash body's tone is both crisp and articulate, with firm lows, snappy highs and sweet sustain.

Maple Neck & Fingerboard

The Schecter CV-4 Bass is manufactured with a smooth maple neck which enables fast and comfortable play. The maple neck yields bright and twangy tones with amazing clarity, while the maple fingerboard offers great sustain. Together, the maple neck and fingerboard offer an exceptionally clear and defined sound, ideal for hard rock and heavy metal styles. The maple neck uses carbon fibre reinforcement rods in order to strengthen it and prevent any neck shifting, and the 6-bolt on construction strengthens the bond between the neck and the body for a longer lasting guitar.

Quality Hardware

The Schecter CV-4 is equipped with quality hardware for an sonically impressive performance. The hardware consists of a S-Tek bridge, Schecter Light-Weight tuners, a Graph Tech XL Ivory Tusq nut and Ernie Ball strings. The Tech XL Ivory Tusq Nut is an innovation from Graph Tech in the performance of instrument nuts. The nuts are precision molded, designed and engineered to provide your bass with consistent intonation, and the TUSQ XL adds harmonically rich and balanced tones. The S-TEK Bridge provides excellent sustain with definition and clarity; whilst the Schecter Light-Weight Tuners keep you in tune without the need for worry. Finally, the CV-4 features Ernie Ball Super Long Bass Strings which offer exceptional clarity and punch to your overall bass performance.

Vintage Appearance

The CV-4 features stunning aesthetics, including a 3-tone sunburst finish, and a black pickguard which together offer a beautifully vintage appearance.
