Hand-Crafted Rosewood For Variety Of Timbres
A variety of tones can be produced by each of the hand-crafted Rosewood bars, traditionally the preferred material choice for percussion enthusiasts. If you are after very fast runs and passages to compliment a stirring section, hit the ends of the bars for a more suitable timbre. Different types of mallet will also generate different sounds - two hard mallets will create a dry character, whereas softer rubber mallets produce muted chords with a soft, warm tone.
Easy To Transport/Assemble
The Gear4music Xylophone is not difficult to transport, thanks to a durable carry case that will help get your instrument to theatre pits, rehearsal spaces and classrooms with a minimum of fuss. Included is a metal stand that allows you position the instrument at a comfortable playing height.
