The aim of the TP3100 range of timpani was to make them great for the band or orchestra that spends a lot of time on the go. Whether rehearsing in many different venues or simply doing a lot of gigs. The lightweight fully recyclable aluminium bowl is easy to carry around and the retractable pedal makes it great for storage.
New Pedal Design
This timpani features a new pedal balance spring system, which even when the player's foot is removed from the new larger pedal, the pitch is maintained. Pitch changes on these drums is now extremely smooth and responsive.
Remo Renaissance Head
A feature of the Yamaha 3100 Series timpani is the inclusion of the Remo Renaissance head, which gives a dark and focused sound to any timpani. With the feel and look of actual calfskin, this timpani head not only sounds, but feels completely authentic too!
