The Mapex Armory 5 Piece 20'' Fusion Shell Pack is the latest Mapex hybrid shell concept, utilising a fusion of birch and maple to deliver incredible tonal expression. The SONIClear bearing edge allows the drumhead to sit flat, as well as reducing unwanted frequencies while providing a strong fundamental pitch. This 5 piece kit includes 10'' and 12'' rack toms, a 14'' floor tom, 14'' snare drum and 20'' bass drum. Cymbals and hardware are not included with this kit but can be purchased separately.

SONIClear™

The SONIClear™ Bearing Edge is designed to optimise the relationship between the head and the shell. This design reduces unwanted frequencies while providing you with a direct sound transmission, a strong fundamental pitch and an effortless tuning experience, especially at lower tunings. The tom suspension and tom feet both feature SONIClear™ technology, increasing the overall resonance by preserving vibration within the shell and keeping stress away from the tension rods, helping the heads to stay in tune.
